However, some parts of the procedure can be covered, such as tooth extraction, restoration of the upper and lower jaw so that you can eat and speak normally, so check your plan for dental implants cost with insurance. A lot of dental insurance plans can cover the cost, but it has an annual reimbursement limit of $1500. This amount hasn’t changed for decades, but it may be enough to cover half of the cost of a single implant.
Specific plans with Delta Dental can cover up to 50% of the cost per year. Some Cigna plans can cover one full one as well. Check with them for additional information.
